GitHub
Install the Solemly GitHub App and choose which repositories it reviews.
Solemly connects to GitHub as a GitHub App. You choose which repositories it can see, and you can change that on GitHub at any time.
Install the app#
- In Solemly, open Repositories and choose GitHub. Only workspace admins can connect a code host.
- Click Install GitHub App.
- On GitHub, pick the account or organization, then choose All repositories or Only select repositories.
- Approve the install. GitHub sends you back to Solemly, and your repositories appear within a few seconds.
Every connected repository starts with AI review turned on. Change that per repository in Repository Settings.
Already installed on GitHub?#
If the Solemly App is already installed on your organization but isn't linked to this workspace, use Already installed on GitHub? on the Repositories page and enter the installation's numeric ID. You'll find it at the end of the URL of the app's settings page on GitHub (…/settings/installations/12345678). GitHub confirms who you are before the installation is linked.
Add or remove repositories#
Click Add repositories in Solemly, or change the app's repository access on GitHub (Settings → GitHub Apps → Solemly → Configure). Solemly picks up the change automatically.
Permissions#
| Permission | Access | Why |

What you get on GitHub#
- One native pull request review per review, with inline comments on the changed lines and one-click suggested fixes where they fit.
- Check runs:
Solemly / Review,Solemly / Security,Solemly / Summaryand, with Jira connected,Solemly / Acceptance. See Anatomy of a Review.
Disconnect#
Uninstall the Solemly App on GitHub, or disconnect it from the Repositories page. Uninstalling stops all access and deletes the repositories' code index.
