Plans & Usage

The free trial, seats, how reviews are counted and what happens at the limit.

Free trial#

Every new workspace starts with a free trial:

  • 14 days, or 50 pull request reviews, whichever comes first
  • every feature included
  • no credit card to start

Each GitHub account, GitLab user and Bitbucket workspace gets one trial, even across Solemly workspaces. When the trial ends, reviews pause until you choose a plan.

Plans#

The Standard plan is priced per seat, billed monthly or yearly. Current prices are on the pricing page. Choose the number of seats on the Billing page, and change it at any time.

How reviews are counted#

Each seat adds 40 pull request reviews a month to a pool shared by the whole workspace.

  • A pull request counts once per usage month, however many times it's pushed to and reviewed that month.
  • Skipped, failed and superseded reviews don't count.
  • The usage month starts on your plan's billing day, not the calendar month.

The Billing page shows how many reviews you've used and when the month resets.

At the limit#

When the month's reviews are used up:

  • new pull requests aren't reviewed until the next usage month, and get a skipped status that doesn't block the merge
  • pull requests already reviewed that month keep being reviewed as you push
  • adding seats raises the limit straight away

Payments and cancellation#

  • India: billed in INR through Razorpay, with 18% GST added and a GST invoice. Pay by card, UPI or netbanking.
  • Everywhere else: billed in USD through Dodo Payments, which adds local tax where it applies.
  • If a payment fails, reviews continue for a 7-day grace period while it's retried.
  • Cancel at any time on the Billing page. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and you aren't charged again.
