Agentic Review

Let the reviewer investigate your codebase before it concludes.

In a standard review, Solemly reads the change and the code around it. Agentic review goes further: the reviewer investigates your codebase while it works, the way a senior engineer would follow a change into the code it touches, such as the callers of a changed function or how a setting is used elsewhere.

The review's footer says deep review when agentic review was used. On GitHub, what it looked at is shown in the Solemly / Review check, so the pull request comment stays focused on findings.

When to use it#

Agentic review is most useful on repositories where a change's effect depends on code far from the diff: shared libraries, large services and complex domain logic. It costs more per review than a standard review, so it's off by default.

Turn it on#

In Repository Settings, turn on Agentic review for the repository. It applies to every review of that repository from then on.
