Repository Settings
Every per-repository setting, its default and what it does.
Each connected repository has its own settings, on the Repositories page. Only workspace admins can change them.
Settings#
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| AI review | On | Turns Solemly on or off for the repository. When off, pull requests aren't reviewed, and @solemly review replies that AI review is turned off. |
| Review when | Every push | When automatic reviews run: Every push, Once per PR or On request. See Review Pull Requests. |
| Agentic review | Off | Lets the reviewer search and read your codebase before concluding. Costs more per review. See Agentic Review. |
| Block on high severity | Off | Fails the Solemly / Review check when a CRITICAL or HIGH finding is found. See Merge Gates. |
| PR summary | On for new repositories | Writes a summary of the change into the pull request description. See PR Summaries. |
| Code index | On | Indexes the repository's code so reviews can see the callers and definitions around a change. |
| Agent links | On | Adds Fix in Claude Code, Cursor and Codex links under each finding. See Fix with Your Agent. |
| Team | Everyone | Which team can see the repository. Shown once your workspace has teams. |
The code index#
The code index stores function and class names, signatures, file paths and line numbers, never function bodies, and keeps only the latest two snapshots. It currently covers Python, JavaScript and TypeScript. Turning it off deletes the index right away. Disconnecting the repository or uninstalling the app deletes it too.
Overrides on a pull request#
Some settings can be overridden on a single pull request with a comment: @solemly review always, @solemly pause and @solemly resume change when that pull request is reviewed. See PR Commands.
Repository configuration files#
Solemly doesn't have a repository configuration file (such as a .solemly file) yet. Settings live on the Repositories page, and review guidance comes from your instruction files.
